CCF Awards $1.6 Million in Grants

Despite economic challenges faced at both state and national levels, CCF is fortunate to be able to preserve a majority of our investments in community based programs.  We are pleased to announce that funding for innovative programs will begin on July 1, 2009.  (See press release)

Supported in part by federal CBCAP (Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention) Dollars, CCF will blend state funding to support the following innovative programs:

  • CCF Executive Director Joan Sharp has been asked to provide testimony on the Early Support for Families Act during a hearing tomorrow in Washington, DC.  The legislation has been introduced by Representative Jim McDermott (D-WA), along with Rep. Danny Davis (D-IL) and Rep. Todd Platts (R-PA). 

    CCF was asked to speak at the Congressional hearing based on the agency’s experience with funding evidence based home visiting services as a statewide grant model.
