Home Visiting Collaboration & Consolidation: SB 5230 Report for 2008

Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill (ESSB) 5830, passed during the 2007 legislative session, directed the Council for Children & Families (formerly the Washington Council for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect/ Children’s Trust of Washington (WCPCAN/CT) to develop a plan with the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), the Department of Health (DOH), the Department of Early Learning (DEL) and the Family Policy Council (FPC) to coordinate or consolidate home visiting services for children and families.

CCF Protective Factors

The Council for Children & Families (CCF) has adopted a new Protective Factor framework to guide our grant making and system change efforts. The changes reflect advances in research and the availability of new accountability tools.
