This site was created to raise awareness of Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) and offers information, ideas and answers for parents and caregivers who are struggling to cope with a crying baby. Resources and support are also available specifically for families in Washington State.

The National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome (NCSBS) is the only worldwide organization that is dedicated solely to the prevention of this form of child abuse.

To meet the needs of new and expectant Spanish-speaking parents, a new Spanish-language video has been produced in partnership with the Children’s Protection Program at Seattle Children's, the Council for Children & Families and Conscious Fathering, a program of Parent Trust for Washington Children.

The Children’s Protection Program at Seattle Children's, along with its partners the Council for Children & Families, and Conscious Fathering, a program of Parent Trust for Washington Children, have created a public service video to help new parents cope with the stress of a crying infant.

This video tackles the subject of Shaken Baby Syndrome prevention from a teen's point of view. Real-life teen parents share their experiences on how they raise their babies and cope with the frustration of a crying child.
