CCF Awards $1.6 Million in Grants
Despite economic challenges faced at both state and national levels, CCF is fortunate to be able to preserve a majority of our investments in community based programs. We are pleased to announce that funding for innovative programs will begin on July 1, 2009. (See press release)
Supported in part by federal CBCAP (Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention) Dollars, CCF will blend state funding to support the following innovative programs:
Parent Child Interactive Training Expansion, Encompass (King County)
Secure Families Project, Wellspring Family Services (King County)
The Trail Home, Nooksack Indian Tribe (Whatcom County)
Vivian's House Respite Program, Pope's Kids Place (Lewis County)
Program details and descriptions are located in the "Funded Programs" section of our website here.
CCF will also continue to evaluate the impacts of our proposed 30% reduction and will seek out new and sustainable ways to maintain our legacy of leadership and support to communities. We believe that by working together, we can build stronger partnerships and collaborations that will strengthen families so that children can reach their full potential in safe, loving and healthy environments.
